Imagine you were a Pakistani student in Hong Kong and you were choosing between going to an Islamic school or a local school. You struggled because both options were appealing to you, one offering familiarity and another diversity. Which route would you prefer and do you think the two routes lead to the same crossroads again in the future? Whose advice would you take? Family? Friends? Or your own heart?

At the crossroads

All roads lead to Rome

All students tell you they are having a great time in school, be it a local or Islamic one. Both routes are entertaining and relaxing in general, but isn't it just impossible to have every day turns out to be a sunny day. Even the same route would offer passengers a different number of stumbling blocks; some more, some fewer, it is natural. But one true thing is that taking either route provides students wonderful scenery and very probably two routes offer them a different yet fascinating experience.

Thank you for reading until now. We would love to bring you to a journey that summarizes our research and to raise a simple yet difficult question for thought. Would you choose to study in an Islamic school or a local school if you were a Pakistani student in Hong Kong?

Reflection: Which route would you take?
